Every time you go really dry clothes outside. I used liquid fabric softener, but that does not seem to help. Ideas?

Ahh, this is hard .... kidding .. Use a fabric softener when washing clothes .... then the extra time to make the soap is thoroughly, which hardens the clothes ... try it, where the wind a little blow.
I consider myself in the dryer for 2 minutes and are sweet as can be.
